Since our rank lists are in stone now. Perhaps we can all feel more comfortable being more forthcoming about our ranks list for the benefit of next years class. Supposedly most of us get one of our top 3 so if we show our top 4 and give brief rationale for our choices that should be slight overkill and might be helpful to guys next year. I guess I mostly went by quality of training and a good vibe.

1. Baylor - was my only top tier interview, not sure about the workload but the program stood head and shoulders above the rest. Residents seem cool despite the fact. Alford is the man but not sure about how long he will be there and what happens after him.
2. Cincinnati - best overall feeling, after interviewing there they became my benchmark and I compared every other program them. They have a true resident team and the residents hang out after work. Case log adequate to great in depth and breadth.
3. UTSW - almost canceled my interview at the last minute because it was so late and I had enough interviews but I'm from Texas and would like to stay here. Senior residents seemed very poised and confident. Good vibe.
4. Colorado - I agree with all the recent postings about Colorado, average program above average location but I dug the location. Being a Texan, we all immigrate to Colorado.
